I just received mine. how do I get that massive chunky metallic piece off the spline to make it look like it does in the 2nd photograph. The spline is not uncovered. Confused. Did I purchase the mistaken merchandise?
A: Get rid of the castle nut from the threaded portion of the shaft. The blade hub adapter need to slide off the spline with a small persuasion. Then the spline and the threads will be uncovered.

what is the big difference among the 250179 and the 250001? They look equivalent to me.
A: The total box is the very same, but the input shaft specifications vary amongst the two.
